This whole discussion is interesting to me because just before the discussion started my other half had this terrible cramping and he attributed it to some left overs he ate that the dog refused the afternoon before. I gave him a glass of 20ppm CS and 6 activated charcoal tablets to take.

Hi Terry, Not really sure about nineteen hours, but I know that it is often the next morning after eating bad food before symptoms show up. Perhaps the contamination was small enough that it took a while to develop. I think your ministrations were spot on. Hope everything is fine.

I don't think so. Here is my line of reasoning. 1. Activated charcoal absorbs compounds, not particles, so the colloidal part should not be absorbed. 2. Activated charcoal tends to absorb organic compounds, not salts, so Silver chloride should not be absorbed. 3. If Activated charcoal did absorb
