I mixed up a 10 oz concoction, which was 8 oz of juice, plus the ACV, Honey and cayenne pepper. Then I would sip abt 2 oz/s at a time thruout the day. Its a good idea to follow with plain water too, just to get the acid out of mouth. Before meals, after meals, any time at all.

It is a trace mineral though so not a lot is needed. It enhances uptake and utilization of Calcium and Magnesium. I agree that for people herbal sources make more sense. Besides whole grains one of the best food sources for silicon is onions, particularly when eaten raw or lightly cooked.

Well, for one thing you could try adding DMSO to the CS in order to carry it under the skin. Nine parts CS to one part DMSO is what I have usually heard. Apply externally. You could also try Oil of Oregano, both orally and topically. For topical use, I would also mix it with a little dmso.
