This looks like a good start for someone wanting to build a winch. Even if you didnt get the motor, the spool w/brake and line guide arm are worth $100 and he MAY ship those. A good FLS motor will run you $50-100 depending on the type of wind and location you live in.

Up for grabs is a good condition Jaro Mueller Escape. It's got the 6 servo wing but it's currently set up for 4 servos with Volz servos in the wings. The V-tail is actuated by 2 HS85's.
The plane has some repairs on the wings and fuse. The
IMHO, Vacuum bagging would be the way to go.
You can cut and prep the cores one day and bag the second day. There is
probably as much work in a foam wing as there is in a built up wing, but it
should come out more accurately (accurately is said with some trepidation, see
UICU results on
unlimited plane...he would know as he finished in the top 20 of the Masters.

I'm no chemical expert, but I'm pretty sure the catalyst is acidic and
that's probably what you smell. All epoxies will have some odor to them. I
would recommend doing it in the garage or workshop next time to keep the
smell out of the house.

drill bit. I think it's a #47. This will give you .005 undersize. This

With the help of Mike Franz at Kontronics, I figured out the problem. Mike
sent me an email with the instructions and after reading them, I still had
nothing...until I realized that this unit requires a separate battery, i.e.
it didn't have a BEC circuit!
Long story short, I connected the
Cermark Pitts, red and white. New Horizon GT26 engine w/Tatone Pitts muffler, all JR precision servos. This plane has been test flown only. $800

There is a silicone made specifically for electrical components.
Unfortunately, it's hard to find and expensive for a small amount. RS used
to carry it but no longer does. If the silicone has an acidic smell, i.e.

I purchased a used Aveox 12LMR with a Kontronics 3SL 70-6-18 ESC pre-wired from someone on this list. To that I've added a Medusa battery eliminator. I was told the motor and esc have only been used a couple of times and I feel confident the units
