Hmm ... if you don't need to bend it I'd suggest using an ejector pin.

James,
I know of no article specifically for the 388 but it
is really an 8 channel 783. You should be able to
download the manual for the 783 on the Horizon web
site and the programming should be the same.
BTW..when I sent my 783 in to Horizon for service the
last time they were able to
the points in his 8103 article should apply very well (with the exception
of the reverse differential through FPRN)
If you got the manual for the 388 there is a practical applications
section at the end of the glider section which you may find more helpful
than the rest of the manual

Hope this helps.

Yup, ejector pins are sold by some vendors as
It was TX only, still in shrink wrap, no module.

I was looking at other stuff when I came across this talking vario with available factory made total energy probe system. It is listed as being for "RF Sailplanes." Cute.

Has anyone heard of someone being killed by a model airplane recently,
like over the weekend? Someone at work heard it on the news and we can't
find anything in the paper.

Hi All,
Thought I'd let you know I just posted a pic of a wind meter that
shows the speed of the wind we were combating in yesterday at Los
Banos. 41.8 mph!! It was crazy. :)

Model accidents aren't uncommon. Fatalities aren't
that common either. I have been hit by both powered
and non powered and both hurt like hell. The
non-powered was a Zagi and it knocked me completely
over and the wind out of me, this was a drilling right
to the chest. I was fortunate. In
