The biggest issue I see is that if you DON"T install some type of sprinkler
protection, then you arch may not be allowed to use any of the exceptions or
reductions to construction wall ratings ect. Since we usually get into the
job too late to have them re-adjust all their design they've done using

In our area the AHJ considers FM-200 a customer option for fire protection.
They do not want to go into a building that is not completly sprinklered to
fight a fire. They do require all NFPA testing and check out for FM-200 if
installed.
