So you have a "tree" system ESFR you want to turn into a "grid" system with plastic pipe.. Sounds like a bunch of calcs to be done. From "my" point of view I would tie 2 branch lines together like a gang drain come off that to a valve in the ceiling with steel pipe Depending on the size of
