This morning I fired up a Late 2012 Mac Mini running Mojave v10.14.6
I connected a Topping DX3Pro Dac (using headphone output) and used
Audio MIDI to set it for use as Sound Output.
I plugged in a usb stick (Fat32 format) with a few albums to use instead
of a HDD.
I opened Safari and
Back in September of this year I trialled LMS and the Local Player
Plugin on my old iMac running Catalina.
I was attempting to help someone on another forum with a similar
install.
I managed to get things working, (I did the perl and bash permissions
thing) but it did not feel "just right".

You could, if you wish, and at your own risk, of cousre, run a fsck or
chkdisk on the usb stick. Do a little research first :)
Turning the rpi of in the proper manner may help reduce the chance of
corruption but is always a good idea imo :)

If you are talking LMS configuration, my advice is, DON'T!
It's likely corrupted, and, frankly not worth taking that chance.
Just install the required Plugins and reconfigure as you use the LMS.
When you have it all sorted and working to your satisfaction, make a
back-up,

Paul, if you feel that your realy need a faster (slightly) rpi thyen the
3b+ from kydstypike is the one.
LMS will run on your othe rpi, just a bit slower. I would still like the
model # please.
It's also possible to install LMS on an O2 joggler (external usb stick
is best for this).

A long way round is to shut down everything. As in everything that goes

I found my Odroid u3 but that was running Lubunto 14.4 which had a
Max2play image installed on it. I was able to upgrade the LMS to Version
8.2.0
The Perl version was 18.2 which would likely present problems with some
plugins

I have only a small libraray and 500MB is plenty for me.
I often use 300MB, do all the config, check everything works and then
make
