Regarding ads: iPeng is a paid app and an expensive one as well. There's
no way I'm going to do ads in iPeng.
For this (Cloud based solution with running costs) it would have to be a
subscription.

If the app is running you need to Exit, THEN "Run as Administrator".
Once you get that to work, look at the account you are using to auto
start the app. For me, where I am running the app on a Windows Server,
it was not enough to select an account with admin privileges as it would
startup

AFAIK That is what VLANS should do but actual functionality can depend
on the router and network
I have to say I am confused
@baggins
You suggested you might use VLAN which requires segregated cabling yet
you then say that your cabling wont support the 2 x Router idea?

Try going to actual program

Not certain what you mean. I right click on the shortcut on the desktop
and
Hm, I was unaware that there were in fact two UPnP plugins of which one
is enabled by default.
Now, the machine on which run both virtual machines that I use, crashed.
Upon rebooting the lot, clearing all caches, disabling both UPnP
plugins, now only client-B is visible in both the Default and

I actually installed that one (zlib1g-dev), says the history. But if
it's pointless anyway, I won't pursue this any further (on the Pi).

Does it happen if you use LMS' tray icon menu item 'Open Control Panel
as Administrator...'?
Btw, did you deliberately choose the Startup Option 'run at login' over
'run at system start'?
reinholdk's Profile:
As I never pass a chance to being adventurous, I tried that.
Unfortunately, there is some "libz" missing. I was able to install the
also missing gcc, but I don't know how to get this "libz". I installed
"zlib1g" but it didn't help.
You'll need the dev package in addition to the library itself:
Hmm how do I do that? Do I need to have a github account? How can I go
back to the previous version to check if that works with these files?
Yes, you'd have to have a github account.
Please feel free to drop me a copy of one such file:

Been a while, but I think I selected the program, right clicked to get
to properties and ticked some sort of setting to always run as an
administrator.

Thanks.
Do you have an ad free account?
I did some more testing, and I'm getting a pause/stop when Slacker tries
to play an ad
(I have my ad-blocker turned off).
(This is a recent issue, Slacker was playing fine a week or so ago)
I've attached the log file.

This is what I am suggesting

It requires the cabling to LMS2 and Clients to be entirely separate from
network 1

Not sure what OS your LMS use.
If running Linux or OSX - then it is case of stopping LMS and deleting
the cache.* files in the LMS Cache directory

3483 UDP is ONLY used for the broadcast packet at the start. So when it
is blocked at LMS end - Players

VLANs may work but there are reports of UDP traffic jumping across them
- I think it is hardware vendor specific as to whether it blocks or
not.
However what should work would be segregated routers i.e.
1. Router 1 that connects to Internet
