Hello,
the option **--edgedata-output** does not support a custom time range. To
set a custom time range you need to define the edgeData output with 'begin'

Vehicles typically have to move to the outer lane to exit the roundabout.
This means you must allow some lane changing while inside the roundabout.
One solution would be to let your management system trigger the change to
the outside lane using traci.vehicle.changeLane.

Do you want a faster routing algorithm (i.. dijkstra versus A*) or do you
want one that optimizes another target function? Duarouter computes fastest

Yes. Use traci.vehicle.moveToXY with parameter keepRoute=2 (
https://sumo.dlr.de/docs/TraCI/Change_Vehicle_State.html#move_to_xy_0xb4)
An example can also be found in sumo/tools/game/racing.py

Hello,
I suggest you contact the authors and ask them to provide their files.
I would be happy to integrate the friction extensions into sumo if they are
willing to provide the code in accordance with our open source license.

Hello,
cars can "see" pedestrians when:
a) the pedestrians are on a pedestrian crossing that intersects the route
of the vehicle (see test cases at
https://github.com/eclipse/sumo/tree/master/tests/sumo/pedestrian_model/striping/block_vehicles
)
b) the pedestrians are walking on the road lane
Dear friends and users,
we are happy to announce the release of SUMO version 1.4.0.
The download links are at http://sumo.dlr.de/wiki/Download
This release brings improvements in different areas such as parking,
actuated traffic lights, sublane simulation, intermodal simulation and
railway
Hello,
you can only have one traffic light per edge but you can still control the
lights for each lane independently.
Either by loading a predefined signal plan with appropriate states and
durations or by using TraCI (traci.trafficlight.setState or
traci.trafficlight.setLinkState)
Stops are not a
Hello,
thank you for your offer to contribute!
Yes. I still intended for traci.person.moveToXY to work in a similar way as
for vehicles and thereby allow easy coupling with pedestrian simulators.
As you can see from the ticket, lots of functionality for moving persons
around is already working.
Hello
SUMO is quite far away from the Nagel-Schreckenberg model (roads and
movements are continous) so you will have create a special road network and
write a new vehicle model.
If you have the latest development version (it won't work with 1.3.1), the
call below will split a network in cells of
1 - 100 of 171 matches
