I have recently updated to 2.0.4 plus an new computer with Windows 7. I
am finding annoying that the view percentage I set does not stay when I
start browsing. On most sites I set it at 90% but if I go to mail and
then back to the browser it is back at 100%. Any suggestions?

Is there a way to set preferences so all windows/tabs open in a certain
percentage, other than 100%? I like 90% with my desktop monitor and
find it annoying to have to constantly reset the zoom percentage every
time I go to a new tab. I am using 2.0.4

I just downloaded 2.6.1 and as usual need to adjust font sizes in the
email program. I have all done except for when I answer an email and

all affects the Font size used on websites as well.
Change the last font in the list to Veranda (if you have it). It may not
improve the size but you sure can read it better.
PS I am disappointed I this version doesn't have
the 'search' button on the browser which I had set
to Goggle.

So how does one start SM in safe mode?
Now I know why I hadn't upgraded since 2.0. All
the fonts are a mess, webpages are all different
sizes and now the computer locks up when I hit the
print key. However, all my bookmarks are fine.
SM was meant by safe-mode.

Either start your SM with the parameter -safe-mode or go to Help and
|chose 'Restart with Add-ons Disabled' there. Dont check any of the

SeaMonkey freezes with both. It renders the
computer locked and unuseable. I have to get out
of windows and then reboot. It is not the printer
connection because I can print fine using IE.
I am using SM 2.9.

I want to sign up for iPodcasts, I get the message, 'iTunes cannot be
found on your computer'. However, if I switch to Internet Explorer, my

I got my email working and was able to get all the inbox folders from
the old computer transferred to the new. Now how do I get the Address

My sub-folders, usually on the left of the regular email screen
disappeared. I used to file some of my email in those folders. No
folder for deleted email either.
