CHRONOLOGY - Spanish oil spill latest of many
UK: November 18, 2002
LONDON - A stricken oil tanker has spilled some 3,000 tonnes of fuel
oil into the sea off the northwest coast of Spain, a government
official said last week.
Not a complete list to be sure.
There is the tonnage lost between the first on the list below
(1967) and World War II.
And then there's the tonnage lost during World War II.
And then there's the tonnage lost between World Wars I II.
And then there's the tonnage lost during World War I.
And
Irresponsibility seems to be a keyword here, surely? But who do we get to
string up by their thumbs? Doesn't seem to be any oil company executives
putting their hands up.

Indeed not, thanks for filling it out. There've been a few news

Only a couple of experiences with the NBB. First, it was a NBB member who
told me I had to register my production operation with the EPA. I fully
believe he knew that the EPA would refuse my registration and threaten me
with fines of up to $25,000 per day, since I was not a member of the NBB.
I think the economics and political philosophy of recycling can not
only be interesting but at times has gotten just plain strange.
Recycling I guess means two things, identification and disposal of
waste (1st) and then (2nd) use of that waste rather than some sort of
sequestration or throwing

Yeah, I was thinking on that recently, and a small producer would be in an
excellent position to do well in localized rendering, providing it was
built into the business plan. It's kinda a self serving feedstock cycle.

Notice many of these are navigational errors. The radar on the Valdez was
broken for at least 6 months prior to its contact with the coast. The ship
owners don't care. Repairs dip into profits. Ships are unsafe.

Hello,
I am a recent convert to biodiesel, as we have switched to all diesel
vehicles at our school in The Bahamas, and we have a steady supply of WVO from
Princess Cruiselines who visit the south end of our island. I have a few
questions about the batches that I have made so far:

The U.S. Department of Energy's International Clean Cities Program is

ester blend with diesel. You can probably get more info from

Coconut oil would be suitable for use as straight vegetable oil and as
biodiesel.
Since the cloud point is quite high, it would be beneficial to use a
two-tank heating approach like our G3 SVO system. This would thin the
oil and provide the usual benefits that we obtain here in cooler

Lindsay Books (http://www.lindsaybks.com/) sells a book detailing how to

of detail is vague. Nevertheless, I think it would be useful to
