Hi All,
I happened to see someone in the Denver area is selling a biodiesel
processor on Craigslist and wanted to post the link in case anyone is
interested. I don't know the guy, and don't know anything about the
processor, other than that it seems to still be available. The link is

I made my processor out of an abandoned Guiness keg (stainless) with a few threaded stainless pipe couplings welded in place for an immersion heater, a temperature probe for heat control, and fittings for a circulation pump. Here in Canada, it isn't worthwhile sending the old kegs back to Ireland.
I would appreciate some help. I am new to the list and I read a few days ago

There are orphan gas stations that can be potentially
permits for you to make biodiesel in a retail environment. Of course
new processor technology and new approaches to energy may change that
but I don't see this as viable in the near term.

Folks -
I have begun to collect parts for a processor, and have a question about
whether I should use a mixing pump or a stirrer.
Seems to me that when the mix is left to separate, what keeps the glycerin
from congealing in the pump? or is this not a concern?
Is a pump better than a mixer?
