round other parts of the region. I mentioned before the possibility of a
post SOTM mapping trip and one area which looks interesting is the
volcanic landscape round Olot (google it to find more). It's

values, maxsped and other stuff in the relation boundary where they

ich bräuchte aber das in einer Datei und nicht schon in kleine Dateien
gesplittet. Also Kontinentweise wäre nicht schlecht. Außerdem sind mir
die Cloudmade-Dateien etwas zu alt.

oder weniger konsequent alle trunk_links zu trunks gemacht. will sich

nach meinem verständnis des wikis und meiner wahrnehmung der
OSM ist ein tolles Projekt.
Zum Massenphänomen wie Wikipedia ist es aber noch nicht geworden.
Die Konkurenz von Google Map/Earth und Bing ist verdammt stark.
Der große Vorteil von OSM ist, dass die Daten zur freien
Verfügung stehen und dass sie erweiterbar sind.
Doch was kann man damit machen?

Was kann OSM in den nächsten 2-3 Jahren?
Wird OSM auch eine Alternative für Google Earth?
Wann werden viele User OSM nutzen,
- um von A nach B zu kommen
- sich in einer Stadt und auf dem Lande zurecht zu finden
- ... ?
