For those who, like myself, are using a Debian derivative (actually
using a Ubuntu based distro optimised for eee) simply replace yum with
apt-get.
Only thing is tangogps is not in Ubuntu Hardy repositories, might be in

in JOSM werden neuerdings transparente Bilder zur Anzeige von features
genutzt. Das funktioniert in den Fällen nicht, wo das Icon in schwarzer
Farbe dargestellt ist, z.B: Telephone. Das erkennt man jetzt gar nicht mehr.

Has anyone looked at importing the TIGER 2007 data yet? I was going to
start coding up the conversion utilities to get started. It appears
that this shapefile format may have existing OSM converters out there.
Anyone want to admit to having one? ;)

Conflation is a difficult thing. I used to work at Tele Atlas, and there was a
major project to conflate Tele Atlas North American data and GDT data
