repairs were needed. How do filters become orphaned?
I am considering removing all filters and restoring them to see if
it solves the 'Incoming filters not working' problem and

Hello TBBETA,
Could we have the results of filtering incoming mail logged into the
account log please? TB4.2.x does it and it's useful to see where some
messages got filtered to.

To weed out GMail's Buzz notifications of my own drivel, I created a
very simple filter, which worked well till v5:

Now at least some of the message do not get filtered.

being one filtering for messages

I filtered messages by alt+mouseclick, then moved all displayed messages
to another folder which resulted in an emtpy message list of the
originating folder. Of course.
But then I was unable to reset this filter by pressing ctrl+* (german

R It is broken and that is a work-around to be sure!!
I think it has been reported as broken tabs and will be fixed when they add
