Dual monitor problem with adjusting headers
Adjusting headers using drag on the borders between headers when TB window is on the secondary monitor, when the secondary monitor is physically situated to the left of the primary monitor causes the column to collapse to zero. I have to check all accounts individually to be sure all have been checked. I have the same problem with 4 accounts. The main account checks fine and as I was watching the other accounts, they timed out. I view the accounts on the connection manager. This is with Popfile also. There is no activity at all on the other accounts until the first one finishes. I guess you could change the Timeout time for the other accounts so they don't time out before checking. Not for sure but will give it a try and see what happens. Or you could set up to check the main account upon Startup. Then check the other accounts later on, sorta stager them. Hello Stuart, In a previous discussion MAU had created a filter that would do this, to a degree. It also only works depending on your e-mail address. Right. In my case it works because I have my own domain rancho-k.com and there is no possible confusion. -- Best regards, Miguel A. Re: Colouring folder icons
Hello John, I would like to colour the top level folder icon, to make it stand out from the list of folders. Any way yet of doing this at all? Not exactly what your want because it doesn't alter the icon in any way but you may want to try this: Go to Options/Preferences/Colour Groups and Font and define a new group with name Top Level and with your colour of choice for font and background. Now, go to one of your top level folders in your folder tree, right click on it and select Colour Group/Top Level. -- Best regards, Miguel A. Re: scheduling the running of filters
Hello David, It occurred to me I could schedule sending myself a regular 'trigger' message and have the receipt of it trigger the running of a filter ... at least in theory ... yet to try ... IMAP filters I _still_ find unpredictable. Yes, something like that should work. Nice idea. -- Best regards, Miguel A. Re[2]: duplicate messages
Allie, It's not old. I've never had problems upgrading by installing on top of another. This is since 1999 and while installing all new releases and many betas. Guess my computer is especially cranky. Windows Xp with sp2. I keep up to date with whatever fixes MS has available. First I had to uninstall 3.0 and reinstall to get 3.0 to remove a long list of tasks in the Connection Center that couldn't complete and couldn't go away. Interesting. The Abort button didn't work? The abort functions would remove the tasks from the display. As soon as TB went to access the server again for some reason they would be right back. Power off reboot, same thing. And now it has been necessary to pitch my message database files to bring The Bat to full functionality. But here we are. Thanks. For IMAP, you need only delete the local cache files for each folder. The delete cache button is in each folders properties. Ok, that makes it easier. Earlier respondent suggested deleting the database files. -- Gleason Current version is 3.0.1.33 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
