Hi Rich,
what version of TiddlyFox do you use? I had similar problems with TF
1.0aplha10, but 1.0alpha12 fixed that.
Best regards,

Hi Tobias,
may be you are right that it's a more convenient approach; for now, as I
understand, core supports only hideReadOnly method for each toolbar item,
and there's also Eric's SwitchThemePlugin which supports

Hi smallhagrid,
I guess you need to either permanently disable readOnly over http or toggle
readOnly mode manally each time using: TiddlyTools.com/#ToggleReadOnly

Tobias, will this make a button or something show someplace at all times
for me ??
Hi smallhagrid,
You could use the timeline macro as you see in...

Hi Yakov,
Thanks for the pointers. While SwitchThemePlugin does have its purpose it
seems a bit too much when you simply want to modify the toolbar.
Didn't know yet that you can simply add...
config.commands.someCommand.hideReadOnly = true;
...to some zzConfig in order to remove the command
Hi Jeremy,
nice screencast. I have one question: how the interaction with images is

Currently images are stored as base64 tiddlers, and displayed by creating a
data URI: representation on the fly.
There will also be support for external
Hi Eric,
Can any progress on this be expected? I just tested uploading to TiddlySpot
with any of FF 19, Chrome 25 and IE 10. None worked with TiddlyWiki 2.7.1.
Cheers, Tobias.

Hi all,
I've been playing a lot with filters lately, but there are cases where I find
it a bit tedious. And I suddenly wondered if there would be an easier way to
handle this...
Let's take an example. Say I have a music file listing artists from various
countries. Now I can do this:

I think it is also possible to use core commands for complex filters but
I'm uncertain of the syntax. Also, in case it's tiddlyspce you're using I
think there are yet further filters available.

with the tiddler macro. (Or maybe it's the | pipe ?)
As far as I undertstand this means

Oh, who would have thought? That shouldn't be intended.
As a workaround for now, the following could be a (working) solution...

If I'm not mistaken, using AND logic is possible with the list macro

If this is for personal use and you use a modern browser (Doesn't work in
IE to my knowledge)
I can think of one super easy way to do this.
A list of all tiddlers sorted by date created and in 4 columns can be made
by using the timeline macro (As Tobias recommended) and getting it to

Tiddlytools is an awesome site, but I've always felt it could use a bit more
