I don't know any OSX specific but on Linux and Windows the following command works - try it in a Terminal window. *netstat -s* The counter are always incrementing so you need to take two or more readings and compare them to see what counters change. -- bpa

with the Repeated transitions for interface en0 messages seem to have either hardware or OSX installation problems. I think you should post a message on an Apple support forum as OSX users may have a better diagnostic and fix. -- bpa

or performance issue with native decoder so native support is disabled by default in current versions. If you want to see if you encounter the bug or not, I believe you can enable native support by uncommenting a line in convert.conf and restarting SBS -- bpa

There is no Turn off player on Radio or Touch but it is there on Controller. I think Turn off was on Touch at some stage in the beta because I came across this issue - however it looks like it has been omitted. -- bpa

Why is there such a resistance to a simple on/off rocker on the back of the Squeezebox units? Everything else in the world has one. Radio has an on/off button which can do true power off - Touch could have had one - perhaps there were design/cost issues. -- bpa

I have tested Touch with an old iRiver h320 which works as a player and a hard drive. The H320 is also unusual in that it can act as USB host and USB peripheral. It worked as well as expected given Touch s/w. Your problem is finding a suitable player. -- bpa
