There are similar problems with the AirMax M. I had to downgrade to
5.6.9 then unlock the radio and go back to 6.x.x.

We use LiteBeam AC Gen 2 and LBE-5AC-23 successfully out to 3
miles. YMMV. For .5 miles and less, we are starting to use
Mikrotik 60Ghz

Actually they can. It depends on what OS you used when you activated

Luckily I had a copy of
5.6.9 in my library
To save anyone the digging to find out how to regress, I think
these are the steps I used.
1) install 6.0.6
2) Install 6.0.6 beta
3) reboot
4) install 5.6.9

The newer versions of software (6.0.6 or higher) will not load software
that is unsigned. So if you go to 6.0.6 and then want to go back to
6.0.4, you need the signed version. Once you go to 6.0.4, you can then
load unsigned versions go back further.

Its a usual sign of network monitoring.

Maybe UBNT could come out with 6.05. That version number was skipped.
6.05 could just be a signed version of 6.04. You could then
downgrade 6.06 to 6.05 and then to any unsigned versions

I agree. The problem that will occur is that one of the two APs will
fail/reboot/whatever and then everyone will associate with the remaining
AP. You then have to redistribute the customers,

It depends on your network: bridged or routed.
If its bridged then you have to rely on STP. A number of STP examples
