I have a MacBook with a dual core intel CPU. When I run a single
threaded application that uses up 100% CPU on one core, the frequency
remains at the lowest step ( 1Ghz here ). I think the CPU should run at
full speed in this case since it would considerably speed up the sing

Once you have your .xpm file (from ImageMagick), gzip it.
Lastly, make sure your grub path to the file is correct. From the grub prompt,
you can actually browse & display the file images.

Public bug reported:
Open up a pdf in Kpdf, and print it. Two printer icons will appear in
the system tray, that when clicked display the exact same information.
This is redundant and probably confusing for the average user. Just the
gnome one should show up if you're running gnome and just kjobvi
