The sound on my Lenovo 3000 N200 laptop was not working by default.
I had to add the line:

package for 2.6.22 and looked at drivers/media/video/cx88/cx88-input.c
to see if the patch has been applied (it hasn't).

I can't see any error about kdelibs (or anything, for that matter),
failing to upgrade at all. Were there more logs than this, or
something? the dpkg output log doesn't even mention kdelibs.

the issue was caused by conflict with package 'hibernate'

solves the problem.

]laptop-mode-tools[/B] for the auto shutdown at low battery levels

[kubuntu gutsy] key
I have seen this same bug. I saw an error relating to nvidia-glx while
upgrading. I have also seen the same error message if I go to
synaptic->Status->Not installed (residual config) and try to purge
nvidia-glx there. The error I get is:

Right. The theme in use was AluminumAlloy-Smog downloaded from
http://ftp.gnome.org/pub/GNOME/teams/art.gnome.org/archive/themes/gtk2/GTK2

All fine with default Human theme.
