It appears to be a general issue. My Winfast 2000XP has stopped working
as well, but not just Gnomeradio, also kradio, radio (ncurses), and
every other program I tried except

I had 9.04 installed on an NCR 7402 POS device w/microtouch touch screen
that exhibits the same problem. When I boot Ubuntu 9.10, kernel
2.6.31-14-generic it does the same thing as described above.
Under Ubuntu 9.10, kernel 2.6.28-16-generic it boots correctly, and
looks correct.
However the
I did not allow the installer to change grub's menu.lst file and this
error was the result. Changing menu.lst is pure hell in Ubuntu, and I
will not use any form of Linux unless I can make Windows 7 is the
default boot option. Editing menu.lst to make that happen is idiot
simple, but try and save
I also didn't like the new theme as much when it came out, but I got
used to it pretty quickly, and it is a lot cleaner and more professional
looking than the old one. Try it out for awhile and see what you think
after giving it some time.

I have the same problem with 32bit firefox in amd64 installation.
No printers are displayed, just like in the initial screenshot. If I save the
file, close evince, start it again from cmdline and load the PDF, then I can
print.
Additionally some icons are missing: When I start evince from
WHat is the CPU usage when you play audio in karmic? The easiest way to
find this out is to run gnome-system-monitor.
Secondly, have you tried disabling pulseaudio's glitch free function? To
do this, edit /etc/pulse/default.pa, and find this line:
load-module module-udev-detect

What operating system are you using as the host, and how is VMWare
attempting to talk to the host's audio hardware, i.e alsa or oss?
If you are using Linux on the host and its Ubuntu, try killing
pulseaudio, and running VMWare again.

Hi there i had those problems too. It seems to work after i disables all
iptables modules.
I think this bug caused by wrong-not good iptables policy .
