I have been usint the kernel from the linux-realtime package as opposed
to the older linux-rt one I was using before, and so far I have not had

I would highly support switching to TigerVNC. However, in the event it
was chosen not to, I think that the code referring to
NumCurrentSelections inside of vncExtInit.cc could just be taken out.
Comparing the differences between TigerVNC and vnc4server showed that
they just took out that code. A co
ld be able to reconfigure the network which is
the case when the network is manually configured.

I made the install yesterday and I am having a very similar problem, it
seems the system sound works fine, but media files and flash player have
a very low volume and then eventually fade out all together. I am new to
this OS, so if this has been solved, a step by step would be VERY much
appreciate

install a new package on any system. Ideally it would check a merged
upstream database.
rc-alert from devscripts is similarly handicapped, but still worth
running. It's target audience is developers, and fixing Debian (usually
upstream) on packages you use is certainly nice.

This bug's been filed since 2006 and it's still not fixed? Anyone who
uses KVM in a bridged configuration is probably affected by it. At least
make a note of it in the procps or upstart documentation so that
with an Active Directory (AD)
authenticated user.

it might be that a new key was issued.

but was easily reproducable;
1. Import a bunch of picture
2. Highlight only some of the pictures, or otherwise select some but not all of
the picutres
3. Put a tag name in the apply tag box
4. Finish import

I can confirm this bug on a completely fresh installation of 9.10 Beta
plus current updates from the repositories. Behavior on my system is an
exact duplicate of that described above (ever-looping request to log in
to Ubuntu One with your launchpad username displayed correctly) when
using Firefox

I have this same issue on a dell mini 9 with its inbuilt 3G modem. Pretty much
the same error.
After updating with the latest PPA i can now connect when in a 3G area, but if
the signal is marginal or GPRS it will not connect in Koala.

I can confirm the same symptoms on a Dell Mini9 using the inbuilt 3G
modem on Vodafone Australia.

I just want to confirm I'm having this problem as well in hardy with
2.6.24-16-server x86_64. I have users that run some large processing
jobs on our cluster, and the Ubuntu machines I added will kernel panic
with "Out of memory and no killable processes" when all the physical RAM
is used up.

I get 3 beeps every time I shut down Jaunty on a Dell D400. I have not
noticed, though, any connection between volume control and the volume of
the beep. I have my volume down pretty low for the start-up chimes but
the beeps are still pretty loud.

tested ALT+PrtScr on my machine and did experience this problem. It

Forgive my multiple posts, it took me a lot less time to do the research
than I had anticipated. I now understand why Usplash was positioned
badly. 791 is for a native resolution of 1024x768 with 16bit colors. My
monitors have a native resolution of 1280x1024. So this number should be
