Update after running 5.6.7-050607-generic for more time now.
Despite my initial enthusiasm, I cannot recommend updating to
5.6.7-050607-generic wholeheartedly. The wifi and the system is snappy, but the
fans are running 24/7 and when running form battery the battery life time is
not good.
My machine is a Dell XPS 15 9570 with an Intel Wireless-AC 9260.
Worked fine with Kubuntu 19.04 and 19.10. Later on on 19.10 (I believe
5.3.0-51-generic) I got loads of hang ups and Wifi drop outs (seconds to
minutes). Thought it was the swappines problem or the wifi problem of the
kernel. Was
switch core back to the stable and all seams ok.

According to system settings the notebook should suspend when lid is closed but

opening the dash or alt+tab it is very slow and laggy. It doesn't matter
if I'm using blur ore not, or disable effects in compiz setting manager

Looks like problem with Gallium3d drivers.

I don't believe this is a problem with your specific driver. There are
similar sounding comments in 289003, but the translation funny, I'm not
sure. I have this problem with video overlay overlapping everything
too. 8.10 started as beta, now fully updated. Using FGLRX current on

After adding the backports to hardy, and updating, Rapidsvn will do
segmentation fault after I Update/Commit/Bookmark my http/ssl repository. If I

I created a LUKS partition, /dev/mapper/cryptdisk,
used LVM2 to create a physical volume, volume group, and logical volume within
it, intending it to be an encrypted root partition. I used yaird to create a
boot image, and wrote it to /boot along
I had a similar experience. The installer identified the wireless card
as eth0 and the wired network interface on the motherboard as eth1. But
on rebooting, I had no net access, as they had become eth2 and eth3.
Ifconfig made clear what was happening, so a change to
/etc/network/interfaces and an

datestamp is from early last month, when I installed Feisty.
