did u guys make sure that the mute is not on a nd in sound prefs pcm is NOT muted as well as the main sound, if so umute them and esp PCM needs to be unmuted and raise the volume level to the level u want to use. I had this happen at times to me on Gutsy - a bug i guess :) -- {Gutsy beta] No

Maybe it's relevant, maybe it's not, but I've tried Feisty too (the alternate disc only, the live disc won't boot on my laptop and crashes to busybox, luckily this has been fixed in Gutsy.) and there I don't get any sound either. I've also been trying Gutsy since Tribe 4 and it's the same story
