In the dmesg.log on this particular boot, /dev/sdc is the PATA drive with 4 partitions (/dev/sdc1 /dev/sdc2 and /dev/sdc3 are EXT3 /dev/sdc4 is SWAP). Also, /dev/sda is a SATA drive with EXT3 partition on top of LVM, /dev/sdb is SATA drive with simple EXT3 partition. -- Udev is swapping hard
