using the XVideo output, but only once. The XVideo interface seems not
to be appropriately released after that one use, since after that eg.

Hi,
I have performed the upgrade to Feisty today and I think I have the same
problem as above.
Also, I am not sure whether this is related (sorry), but I cannot see
the options to change the CPU frequency scaling in the GUI dialog (see
screenshot attached). In my BIOS I have the `stepping' option
I got the same problem with an nvidia card, i.e., logging out from a
second session makes the system crash. KDE just won't take any events
anymore.
I think there is connection to antoher bug, let me look up the number.

I fixed to problem by removing the nvidia driver and enabling it again
with the restricted-manager. I was missing some important options in
xorg.conf. I guess I was missing these because i upgrade this install
from dapper->edgy->feisty.

I had the same problem after upgrading to feisty beta.
For me this problem only exists, if my default display manager is gdm.
So a workaround (not a solution) is to enable kdm as your dsplay manager.
Use"sudo dpkg-reconfigure kdm" and select kdm as your display manager.

I can confirm the bug, both for edgy and for feisty. In a matter of
hours, memory usage was 66% out of 1Gb ram (seen in "top"), and the HDD
worked pretty heavy on swap partition.

I get this message when I try to change the mount point through
'Properties'-->'Volume'-->'Mount point'.
But it can be different as my stick isn't mounted at all and nautilus doesn't
come up.
However, forcing the mount point creates a key in gconf which I have to delete
to mount again my stick.
