Isn't this properly fixed in intrepid? AFAIR (I am not using ubuntu
right now - since I am not on my PC) rhythmbox has now no icon by
default. If you enable the notification area plugin then it minimises.
This is in my opinion a very good fix - but maybe I remember one thing
for another :)

I have tried your suggestion, and for my computer it didn´t work , well it´s
"work", but without 3d hardware accelaration - when i say without 3d
hardware accelarion i means than 3D games, 3d programs the work really slow.
Fglrx is the official driver from ATI , so i think we need to focus in i

question 2 - normally the remaining code doesn't take that long to
finish, but now when u mentioned it I remember I had problems where a
child process (where the script is being run from) wouldn't exit
properly continuing to execute parent code. in that case the answer is

"sought.rules.yerp.org" is a third-party addon ruleset, and not part of
the default sa-update setup (either from upstream or in Intrepid). it,
and that mailing list thread, are irrelevant to this bug.

This is a critical bug and priority should be elevated. Many networked
solutions depend on a static IP address.

Adobe has complained about Microsoft[1]. Is there any chance there could
be Adobe-Ubuntu? I.e., Adobe development tools running on top of Ubuntu.
Just imagine if Adobe gave a 50% discount for their Linux Software
versions? Or if they paid 2K for Ubuntu support and *all* Adobe
software.
