Ok, I just witnessed the top menu disappearing when opening a text
document. It is not completely consistent, but often the menus are not
here when hovering the pointer on the panel. Minimising and restoring
the window makes it come back. However, I couldn't reproduce the save

- For the global menu disappearing, is it only when opening a document from
Nautilus, and does minimising + restoring fix it? If so, it's Bug #1064962, and

- About the the save as having no effect, I have witnessed it but I am
I think M$ does this (something like a green filling from left to right).
As the filling process seems more natural from bottom to top, maybe this could
do it? Furthermore, it would slightly differentiate us from M$ :)

there is no pattern to creating the order of the lenses in the dash: the
lenses I added myself are added randomly in the list, Home and Apps stay
at the beginning, Videos is at the end, and Files and Music
I just had a look in USC, and it appears that LMMS doesn't appear in Sound
Video when this ppa is in use.
However, it is listed in the Dash in the Media filter.

Any news about this? It looks like there has been good progress since
this bug has been filed. Can we expect it hitting the repositories
soonish? It would be great as it would all at once bring dozens of games
available and easily installable to all Debian/Ubuntu derivated OSes
users.

This problem still exists in 12.04.
When the extra dialogue appears after starting installing the updates,
software updater goes to front but doesn't take focus. To go back to
their work (say, on Firefox), the user has to (1) click on the software
updater window to make it take the focus, and
I have the same problem on 12.04 up to date on a Samsung N310.
This started a few days ago. It is very annoying, as often I click on
the launcher icon and instead of bringing the document that is already
opened, it opens a new blank document.
So the document is often not visible on the launcher
So what is the package that needs to be fixed? It would be good to
change the status to reopen the bug so it gets some attention (it was
tricky to find this bug as the fixed bugs don't appear in the search
results by default).
