I had the same problem in feisty. It also affected thunderbird, I use
ssl in the connection to the mailserver, and gaim. I did apt-get
install --reinstall firefox libnspr4 libnss3 and it solved the problem
in all three programs.

I also see this bug. After maximizing a window I can no longer use its
titlebar, the only way to restore sane behaviour is to unmaximize it
from wnck-applet.
I found that this problem didn't happen with the default configuration,
but only after disabling wobbly windows from the desktop-effects
It works fine in OOo 2.0.0 in feisty.

Worked fine on my home installation. Only mild complaint is that after
having upgraded to 7.04, Adept Updater always says 'A new version of
Kubuntu is available! Click next...' after installing any patches. the
Next button is greyed out but it is a bit misleading.

Same thing here. Feisty was a clean install for me, so no edgy-proposed.
Furthermore, if I do sudo apt-get dist-upgrade there is nothing to

I tried Opera 9.10 and 9.20 beta , both static and shared:

(/apps/compiz/general/allscreens/options/active_plugins) if you choose

After I muted those senses I heard a very loud noise, a whistle. I
realized that all input devices were at 100% level. I reduced them and

I looked a little more into this. If you purge the mythtv-common
package, the postinst script will remove the mythtv user.

If you switch the order of the sound devices, erase the state files in
/var/lib/alsa/, unload the alsa modules, reload them in the desired
order, adjust the volumes, then save the state.

Richard: please open new bug. It seems that bug is fixed for (most/all)
HP laptops and since you have HW from different vendor it makes sense to
have separate bug.
