Pedro, the question above was whether disabling compiz fixes it. Desktop effects under Appearance is what disables/enables compiz. I can't speak for Jeff, but for me this bug is only there with compiz/desktop effects enabled. Having said that, no specific compiz feature seems to trigger it.
