I am setting pCp 6.0 on a Rpi 4. I have tried beta 7 and beta 9 and I
cant connect on wifi.
My RPi 4 (with the last firmware) is linked by ethernet to my PC (Window
10) that is connected to wifi.
I have a 2 Tb HDD linked by USB to the RPi 4. This HDD has its own power
supply.

Restarting the daemon really doesnt do anything different. It does
check for dangling devices and processes, and cleans it up. But the
commands used to start playback are identical.
Do you have more than one LMS server in your network?
It might help to use tail to watch the log real-time

Perhaps you are just clicking things too fast.
When a player connects to LMS, it will take a bit to show up in the LMS
web interface..although the player is still connected and available.

I don't have a problem with the procedures and they seem to be working.
I checked the config.txt had taken by going through the edit config.txt
procedure a second time just to check the the overlay setting was

Appreciate the help guys, but I know I don't have all of the kernel
modules supplied for this board. It's the blessing and the curse of
the piCore OS. Designed to be small, we typically only include what we
needed. The IQ-Audio-Codec board uses a Codec driver that no other
board has used

Indeed, the card is just a bit less than 128MB.
I will try and fiddle with partition sizes, and see if it can fit a

I have an old 128 MB sd-card that still holds pcp 4.00 on an a daily
running player.
As an experiment I tried to install pcp 6B9 on it .
Unfortunately the image is just a bit to big. And the insitu upgrade
fails at the untar.
Quite obviously a space issue, and not an error that needs a fix.
But

I'd appreciate some help with an issue I'm experiencing. I'm running b9
on a Pi4B LMS on a separate Ubuntu server, ethernet connections. I can
connect a BOOM 3 BT speaker but when it's switched off and on again, I
have to restart the BT speaker daemon to get any sound. Here is the BT

a few problems with the upgrade. Squeezelite was not recognizing the
Card anymore and wasn't starting. First I was using

I took the fresh 9b audio image and the first configuration step was cpu
isolation.
1. Isolated cpu 0 - pi4 booted without problem
2. Isolated 0,3 - pi4 is crashing during boot and it is not reachable in
network, i do not have a display at home, so i don't know, what is
happening.

Insitu update on pi4 with lms went well, only hdmi setting was "on"
instead of "off".
Than i tried to update one pi 4 player with rt kernel. Insitu update was
not possible (error, errors, some packages could not be downloaded, root
partition was big enough-300Mb), so i just created a sd card

Thank you! I installed it insitu onto my LMS only installation on a Pi 4
inside the Argon One case and everthing is working fine.

The 0,3 isolation was optimal for previous pis. Not sure the Pi4 is
mature enough to know what works there. The pi boards still have lots
of WiFi problems in general.

Not All drivers let you turn it off. Rpi has turned it off-on-off and
now back on in the series of about 2 months.

Can you run a update on the BT extension. Spaces should now work. See
if that also impacts the special character.
