I'm running LMS 7.9.2 on a Raspberry Pi3 (pCP 5.0.1). This evening I'm
seeing an error when using Spotty:
"Spotty requires the Perl module IO::Socket::SSL. You can NOT use Spotty
without this module. Please use your operating system's package manager
to install it."
Go to pCP's Main Page ->
Reset is exposed, cs is the chip select line. Cant you just hook up
to bcm7/CE1?

Well then go to the WiFi page and gather WiFi diagnostics. Also, you
can try to connect from there there will be a text box with
information as the connect process runs.

How are you getting that log. I only see wifi starting. There
should be two IP addresses listed.
In any event, Wifi start thinks it's getting a good address. Something
is responding to the DHCP request. (I would bet your windows machine)

Ok this is it but it's the same than the one I send you If you want
the "diag boot", it's too long to be pasted.

Zabizabo,
The diagnositcs on the wifi page provides good data. And if you have
wifi setup. Boot with both wifi and ethernet connected, and then supply
the boot log. (Diagnosits|logs|boot)

Do me a favor and do not restart the daemon. Power off your bluetooth

Well I stumbled across the st7789 drm driver. I built it, have it
loading. But nothing was displaying. The fbtft modprobe parameters
that work here, and pimoroni's python code show the driver using BCM9
for the dc pin. Well, that's a bit of a conflict, as BCM9 is one of
the SPI pins. The

I was waiting for this question :). My router is on the ground floor. My
Pi at the first floor wear an Allo Digione card that is linked to my
DAC. And my DAC is linked to my speakers.

Im using 5.0.1. I tried rebooting it 3 or 4 times and every time it set
all volumes to 99 and the mic as input (even reset and saved it again).
Then I checked the log and noticed it couldn't
hi ElEsido,
If I remember correctly, in piCore, /etc/fstab is generated
"dynamically" early during every boot process.
When I tried making my own /etc/fstab and saving with a backup I found
it loaded too late in the boot process to be used.
Also, most fstab entries are "noauto" so mount -a
Hi all
I installed piCorePlayer 6 (b9) on my pi 3B+.
All works fine so far, but i cant get it to work with my BT-Speakers.
Install, connect and all works, but i did not find the Setting "BT
Speaker" in the list of Audio Output Devices in Squeezelite Settings
Tab.
Can anyone of you explain me

The boot log should show the WiFi hardware being detected - so that

I recently updated from pCP 5.0.0 to 6.0.0-b9. Everything works great,
except one small thing.
In my two "newer" players (Touch and Radio) the time (clock) is correct,
but in my two legacy players (Boom and Classic) the time is one hour
behind.
I've been looking through the settings in pCP

Since you are using a Raspberry Pi 4 the WiFi device should be the
on-board one - which is presumably OK because Raspbian worked when you
used it over WiFi on the same RPi.
I am away from home without RPi4 in the area - but I think the boot

Unfortunately it doesn't work. After running a diagnostic I got

I'm trying that, thanks :)
I am sure that a minus in the middle is no problem.
How about verifying that the exact same wpa_supplicant.conf works in
Raspbian and pCP
i.e. copy the file rather than typing it again just in case.

My SSID is Livebox-7A6E and in my passphrase there are only numbers and
letters. Do the "-" in my SSID is a "special" character?
Just a guess - but are there any "special" characters in the SSID or
passphrase?

Hi there,
I am setting pCp 6.0 on a Rpi 4. I have tried beta 7 and beta 9 and I
cant connect on wifi.
My RPi 4 (with the last firmware) is linked by ethernet to my PC (Window
10) that is connected to wifi.
I have a 2 Tb HDD linked by USB to the RPi 4. This HDD has its own power
supply.

ALSAlevelout="Custom" sometimes does not work. I am using a 7.1 usb
sound device and this method comes up as an error that the USB is not
found (Must not be loaded yet.). Using "alsactl restore" in the user
commands under tweaks seems to load it later in the boot and finds the
card just fine.
Restarting the daemon really doesnt do anything different. It does
check for dangling devices and processes, and cleans it up. But the
commands used to start playback are identical.
Do you have more than one LMS server in your network?
It might help to use tail to watch the log real-time
The drivers sitting in staging, with no Maintainer typically means the
driver base is on its last legs..at least in the mainline kernel.
Making a new driver based on easyfb should work.I would have to add
the driver in my downstream kernel. Looks like tinydrm might be the
better

You mean something based on the easyfb.c example? When I looked at that
I did not understand the benefit of a dedicated driver
