How are you getting that log. I only see wifi starting. There should be two IP addresses listed. In any event, Wifi start thinks it's getting a good address. Something is responding to the DHCP request. (I would bet your windows machine) piCorePlayer a small player for the Raspberry Pi

Zabizabo, The diagnositcs on the wifi page provides good data. And if you have wifi setup. Boot with both wifi and ethernet connected, and then supply the boot log. (Diagnosits|logs|boot) Since I trust that you are entering your SSID and password properly, I would bet a beer that your DHCP

Well I stumbled across the st7789 drm driver. I built it, have it loading. But nothing was displaying. The fbtft modprobe parameters that work here, and pimoroni's python code show the driver using BCM9 for the dc pin. Well, that's a bit of a conflict, as BCM9 is one of the SPI pins. The

ALSAlevelout="Custom" sometimes does not work. I am using a 7.1 usb sound device and this method comes up as an error that the USB is not found (Must not be loaded yet.). Using "alsactl restore" in the user commands under tweaks seems to load it later in the boot and finds the card just fine.

Restarting the daemon really doesn’t do anything different. It does check for dangling devices and processes, and cleans it up. But the commands used to start playback are identical. Do you have more than one LMS server in your network? It might help to use tail to watch the log real-time

The drivers sitting in staging, with no Maintainer typically means the driver base is on its last legs..at least in the mainline kernel. Making a new driver based on easyfb should work.I would have to add the driver in my downstream kernel. Looks like tinydrm might be the better
