Hi Jason,
You would need to look at logs to work out how this happened, but to fix it you
would simply need to find the affected instances in the cloud.vm_instance table
in the DB, and then change the state from 'Stopped' to 'Running'

Juniper SRX firewalls are supported by CloudStack and can be added as
additional network service providers.
You then simply create a new network offering using the SRX for firewall
features such as NAT and VPN etc

TH will tell you the name of the
volume.
Then export the volume to a hypervisor not under the control of CloudStack, and
mount it on a running VM, this will then allow you to access the data contained
within it.

'service_offering_details' table afterwards does create the required behaviour.
I need to look into this more to see if it is a bug in the UI or API.

use these to deploy your VMs. Bear in mind that you may lose HA functionality

If the default template does not get downloaded its normally an issue with the
SSVM as this is responsible for the download.

They may be old data volumes as when you delete a VM which has a data volume
whilst the root volume gets expunged, data volumes do not.
You can cross reference the name of the file with the volumes table in database
to see if they belong to any active VMs etc

You say your system VMs can ping the public gateway but nothing further, have
you checked the configuration on your gateway to ensure it is setup correctly
to route the return traffic back to the VMs public IPs.

Tim,
Locate the record for the ssvm in the Database table 'vm_instance' and change
the 'state' column to 'Stopped'
After a short delay the system should automatically try to restart it.

Anoop,
This is by design, LDAP is the authoritative authentication source so you need
to change the password there, CloudStack can only query LDAP, not update it.
