In Draw, is it possible to connect 2 objects with an arrowed line but the
arrow needs to be in the middle of line, not at the end. Thanks.
Stop claiming MS should be allowed to lead ODF. ;-)
Thank you. I have stopped arguing that MS should be free to implement
the ambiguous parts of ODF as it sees fit, but the documents still

I do have one large window on the wall that I am facing, however the
other walls are internal walls and a windows would be inappropriate.
The bedroom, saloon, and childrens' room each have windows on at least
two adjacent walls, though.
Interestingly enough, I can open

Hi all,
I've just d/l 3.1 and I've noticed something different in Calc. (I'm using
Windows XP). When I have to insert a line or column, I want to retain the same
font as I used in the first part of the document. When I change the font to the
name I want, eg Times New Roman, it used to stay in

You can create your own shortcut for this feature. Go to Tools |
Customize | Keyboard tab. In the Category List select Edit. In the
Function list scroll down to 'Fill Down'. Then in the Shortcut Keys
list select the key combination you want to use and press the 'Modify'
button.

Hello, I'm fairly new to web building and I've read chapter 16 Creating Web
Pages where you talk about a web wizard but I can't find this wizard in OO

It would be wonderful to find this man and let him make my web site - not
to mention my day.
Please help me.

Ok, draw the first line with no arrows
draw a 2nd line on top of the first with an arrow in the middle of the
first line.

Hi
I have an other solution for this problem in impress.
* place a 3rd object between the 1st and the 2nd one.
o Use the menu point 'position - size' to place the 3rd on the
correct position or use a helpline
* now connect the first with the new one and the new one with

Hello Keith,
I
I have just upgraded from Open Office 3 to 3.1. I installed LT (grammar
checker). I can't get it to work. When I go to TOOLS spelling and grammar
in Writer, only spelling gets checked.
How to I get Grammar checker to work in Writer?
Thanks for your help.

I created a database with two tables. The purpose of this database is to
monitor what supplies (SUPPLIES table) were given to who (CLIENT table),
when they were given, and how many. I hope I have my structure correct,
