Fresh install on Centos 5.7. All OK with web interface.

Can create events and tasks on my own calendar but never modify or delete.
The same events can be managed with success by using web.

First of all, go into the sharing settings of one of your calendars,
maybe a newly created. Double click on authenticated users and then take
a look at the settings for private, confidential and public. If this is
always none your previous changes in your config worked. Could you
confirm this?

We tested Funambol with SOGo. With Funambol, you can sync yours contacts /
calendars / tasks / emails with your phone (BlackBerry, Iphone, Android
phone, ...)
Is it the best way to sync with a phone? I don't know.
Is it the only way to sync with a phone? I don't know.

Funabmbol (SyncML) is just one more way to access your calendar/address
book.

One of the major drawbacks is, that you only will have one calendar and
one address book.

I can confirm this issue with my Blackberry.
It seems to happen on resets from server to Blackberry and DST clock shifts.
