Installed Webmin module of SOGo and found Configuration file of Samba referred is at /etc/samba/smb.conf whereas it should be /etc/samba4/smb.conf What needs to be done further so that Samba4 server and Webmin takes into account new smb.conf and not the old one? [SOGo] Samba4 conflict with original version
Hi, When I try to install Samba4 on the system I get the below error. I have CentOS 6 installed. Can someone guide how I can resolve this using Yum cymand? One way I am aware is to use download the RPM and install through rpm -ivh --replacedfiles samba4-4.0.0beta5-4.centos6.1.x86_64, but I am afraid this would be irrevocable and may not perform correctly. Hi Philipp, If you are looking for Mobile solution for Andriod, then go for z-push. I have tested and its working perfectly fine with Andriod. Re: [SOGo] Mobile Sync with Z-Push Activsync Successful
Hi Peter, My objective is to have all Mobile devices sync with SOGo. Z-push is a good replacement for Funambol due to its native compatibility with Andriod and Apple IOS with version 6. However, Z-push do not support Blackberry Devices and so we require Funambol. I am working on making it work for me :). But you can say it got Z-sync topic got hijacked by Funambol. By the way, Funambol setup is complete and looking forward to test with Blackberry tomorrow. [SOGo] Mysql and Samba Authentication for same domain users
Hi, Can I integrate Authentication by Mysql and Samba for same domain users? Mysql can authenticate users that do not need Outlook Native Compatibility and Samba setup can be made for the ones who requires ? By this bifurcation I can manage to have less load on non-required resources for outlook compatibility. I assume - For Outlook Native Compatibility, Samba authentication is mandatory. Kindly correct me if wrong. Let me know your thoughts. -- Thanks & Regards, Devinder Singh Birdi -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
