Dear all,
I have been working on to extend the current VCL (back-end) code to support
not only MySQL but also Apache Derby. I choose Apache Derby as it has an
Apache licence compared to the GPL on of MySQL.
I have created two issues about this, where you can read more details about

Thanks. Very detailed.
On issue VCL-202 could you attach a copy of the sql conversion script? Or
do you have a list of changes on the schema? Maybe it's there and I just
didn't see it.

Hello community,
I have been working on a new provisioning module for VCL. With this module
the VCL will be able to provision instances on the IBM Developer Could. I
have written a alpha version of it and currently I am working on
integrating it with VCL, so i can test it out.
However I have some

Milen,
Did you create an entry in the resource table for the image?

Hello Community,
I have made some progress with the provisioning module that will
communicate with IBM Cloud, now I need to set up the image on the cloud
properly so that VCL can access them.
I am been following this documentation:

In the upcoming release, rc.local will be overwritten on image capture
by the OS/Linux.pm module.
a post_load script would probably be a good way to go until we can make
the dependency on two networks optional.

Hello community,
I have been making progress on my ccmp module which is going to give VCL
access to IBM Cloud resources. Currently images can be provision on the IBM
Cloud from VCL.
However I can not save the images, the web interface does not give me the
option, is there any special setting to th
uot;reply" for an existing message. When clicking reply, almost all
email clients set the "In-Reply-To" header and then use this when
displaying
messages in a threaded view, which makes your message get somewhat hidden
in
another thread.

Hello,
I have been working on creating an OS Module for AIX.
As a starting point I am using the following documentation, is it up to
date, and the Linux OS Module?
https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/VCL/Operating+System+Module
+Interface+Specification#OperatingSystemModuleInterfaceSpeci
ess(), test code is executed, then the process exits.
Once this is set up, it should be pretty efficient to test all of the
subroutines in Linux.pm. If any have problems under AIX, implement an
overridden subroutine in AIX.pm with the same name.
Hope this helps,
Andy

Hello community,
I would like to bring some more attention to this topic as the module has
taken shape.
The idea behind this module is that university as well as anyone else
interested in VCL will be able to have access to additional resources.
Hardware can be expensive and not everyone can affo
nd test it out.
Thanks,
Aaron

the db?
Have you created a Jira issue for it yet?
Thanks,
Aaron
