Interesting. I suspect the numbers are misleading. I doubt that all
those people who have recorded a video, are actually interested in
uploading it to the web. I dont expect even a third of internet users
will become regular posters of video to the net, even if editing were

Just browsed through your site. Very exciting stuff. The Tips Techniques
video just began to play and you've done a great job on that, for sure. A
valuable 25 minutes for all of us toward becoming better camera operators /
film makers. This deserves a revlog...
Okay... this is cool, but... what about the problem with bandwidth? Is the
overall throughput on the global internet actually increasing and can it
meet the demand??
I, for one, am stuck with relatively slow speeds at home. There is no cable
or DSL available so I don't subscribe to videoblogs,
This is the first I've heard of Malachi Ritscher and I live a mere three hours
north of Chicago. This is truly disturbing and thought-provoking.and not
that I want to see it, but where does the vlogging come in on this story?

First of all, I strongly recommend this great interview on insane films with
Dierdre Straughan. (Dierdre says some very interesting things and you also
get to see Madge Weinstein's new look).

I ended up leaving this long comment on the post, but, on the outside
Where is the comment? Can't find it on insanefilms.
I was very tired during that interview so perhaps not as articulate as I'd
have liked, but Madge's question also hit some nerves with me. I've been
thinking a lot about the US and my own reactions to it, which are stronger
every time I go back
Glad you enjoyed the show. I didn't announce the finale in advance
because I didn't want to steal the thunder from Casey and Rudy of
Galactacast who were last night's guests. Thanks for participating in
so many of the shows Randy. I had a blast doing 'em.

Deirdre,
First of all, I can understand why you were tired, given all the work you
did in putting together a great vlog europe (I know Andreas did a lot of
work too). Despite that, I thought it was a very good interview anyway. You
were instrumental in making this such a great experience for me
Great show, Jonny. Looking forward to the next project! :D
