Hi I also installed the mbraille free app. I have a 4s and having
trouble getting all 6 fingers on the keys. What is away mode? I have it
set on piano mode. Also it says to have the home button on the right. I
don't know what away is. Andy

I am not sure if this is new or how new it might be. And, it is a small
thing.
I have noticed while reading Voiceover will say stainer instead of
stained. This is when read in a sentence. When read word by word, it reads
correctly.
Just my trivial for the day.

Good morning.
I downloaded the free version of MBraille, just so I could see what it was like
before buying it. I’ve been using it in away mode on my iPhone6 just because
that seemed like the easiest way.
Anyway, I’m wondering what experiences others have had with the app. What does
it mean
Hi away mode means that you have the screen facing away from you and you put
your fingers on each end of the screen with the phone in landscape mode. Piano
mode has some bugs in it so I would suggest that you use the away mode. You
might find the table mode easier, but I like the away mode. So
If you buy the $39.99 version you will get the third party keyboard plus the
ability to save text files to Dropbox.
Adding mBraille as a third party keyboard means you can hit reply on an Email
and use mBraille to write the text instead of having to switch to mBraille

A little more about away mode. With the screen away from you and the home

The short ends of the phone will rest in the palm of your hands.

You have to find the keypad button in the active call screen and double tap it,
your keypad is simply hidden and double tapping that button will unhide it. It
is part of the buttons like Mute, Speakerphone, Keypad, End Call, not sure off
the top of my head which order they are in.

Hi,
I'm rather surprised that VoiceOver for IOS doesn't have some sort of
pronunciation dictionary that you could tweak. Has Apple ever considered
such a thing? Just curious.

Hi,
I think you’re making a mistake in your test. You probably are using a finger
to press the home button that you have registered as a finger print to activate
SIRI. If I use my index finger which is my finger print It works just as you
said but, if I use another finger to activate SIRI,
I could and did replicate this problem.

Hi,
That’s because the original person who wrote about this didn’t realize he was
pushing the home button to invoke SIRI with a recognized finger print finger.
If anyone else uses the phone they can get to SIRI by pushing the home button
but, the finger print reader is on that button and,

I think sometimes it runs the next word into the first, so if you read it word

question and the next, it does sound funny. I doubt this is always the full
