You can sign up using Safari on your iPhone. Just be aware that a lot of the things that are "clickable" are not noted as controls presumably because they're not marked as such in the normal HTML way. So you have to be a little bit creative and guessing what you're supposed to double tap on.

Hello, I can only agree with the first part of it. Allowing them to set up your email, and making you an apple ID, I wouldn't recommend for 2 reasons. 1) They will know those credentials of yours. 2) When it comes to setting it up again, for whatever reason, you may not know how to do it.
