even the best and most expensive headsets and sometimes I found that expensive
headsets had more of a delay than inexpensive ones. Even Apple has not figured

Sometimes Eye Note works for me, sometimes it doesn't. But now, I know that when it doesn't, it needs more light. So, I either turn a light on in the room, or go outside, and it has never not worked under these conditions. I have the cheap phone, it probably works better on the pro models.
This usually has to do with how aggressive the headphones are with saving
battery. I don't think there's anything you can do about it on an iPhone other
than avoid those headsets. JAWS and NVDA have ways to deal with this.
