I strongly disagree. Having bought the apps separately, I do not feel like I got a bad deal at all. I've been able to use the stand-alone app all this time for quick and accurate scans, and as the tweet I've quoted severl times in various messages, the stand-alone app will still be beneficial

I also updated. As Richard said, when you select add, you are asked to give permission to the camera. Those of us who bought the VoiceDream apps as seprate apps had gotten a bad deal. We would have been better off had we waited, unless the developer plans to add premium features to the stand

Yup. Downloaded and installed it a little while ago. Couse the extra ios7 voices won't be there until the iOS upgrade. Earlier in the day I could not use DR because no voice was available so I suspect the app was being enabled. My thanks to the developer for such a classy to approach a tricky
