The second biggest drain is the iPhone's phone transceiver.
The third biggest drain on the battery life is most likely the
networking was off.

Hi,
If you can't use the phone during the day at work wy not just turn it off(power
it off) for the time it is in the locker? Why leave it sitting there doing
nothing?
Another thing you can do is make sure bluetooth and WIFI are turned off as well
if you still want to leave it powered on.
Have you also tried turning on do not disturb.

Although I've never seen any noticeable differences, closing all the open apps
in the app switcher is suppose to prolong battery life. It is not my intent to
start another argument over it does or it doesn't work, I'm only saying I've
never noticed a difference in battery life. On the other
When I'm out and about, it's easy enough to have siri turn off WI_FI and
Bluetooth. It's easy enough to turn both on again if needed. Even when I get
a phone call, I don't need the Bluetooth radio on. It's very easy to have siri
turn bluetooth on if I want to make a call and use my ear
Airplane Mode worked really well in iOS 6 for battery preservation. I would
get out of my office in the afternoons and still have something like 98% of
the battery remaining. So, the 25% drop is somethihng of a shock. Thanks for

AirDrop is only supported on the iPhone 5 and later.

Whether closing apps would help save battery drain or not would depend a
lot on the app. Apps which have the status of running next to them for
example are actually taking up some processor cycles, so would be
consuming more power than apps which have no status next to them and are
pretty much
Also, if you do not have usable vision, you can save battery by turning screen
brightness down. I am not talking about the screen curtain, but the screen
brightness.

You may want to try a factory reset. I know they are a pain and it takes
time to put all the apps back, re-sync your content, move apps into folders
and so on, but only this way you can be sure you start fresh. If you restore

A 25% drop in a day sounds normal to me. Clearing the task switcher might
help, tons of other options for reducing battery drain, but since you can't
use it for all that time, switching it off sounds a good idea too.
