I am pretty sure this happened after my session with Apple support. We spent a lot of time on my Macbook as most of the trouble was coming from the Mac. I did notice apps seemed to be appearing on my Mac which were apps from the iphone. I will contact Apple support tomorrow as its too late

I have had this happen only once. This happened when I got my iPhone 6 & was installing from an iCloud backup. What I noticed is that even though the apps installed on my iPhone the ones that didn't show up in the list of apps in settings were no longer available in the U.S app store ie

That seems rather odd. I'm guessing you already rebooted your phone? So, when you open settings, and are on the screen that starts with your iTunes, iCloud stuff, WiFi, Bluetooth, etc. there are no apps listed after the Apple default apps? Did you find this while on the phone with Apple
