I think they took the emergency button out of iOS 8, or at least on the iPhone 6. I don't have such a button on mine in the lock screen. Touch ID is probably fast enough that it isn't needed anyways,, but all that is there is the usual status stuff, any uncleared notifications, and the unlock

It's on the iPhone 6. The emergency button only shows up on the lock screen when a pass code or touch ID is being used to unlock the phone. If a pass code or touch ID isn't being used emergency personel has access to any and all info on a person's device. No the lock screen curtain turned on
