Hello, I am about to update phones, and I have several podcasts in the downcast app that I still have not heard. Is there anyway I can get those podcasts either download it directly to my phone, or put on the cloud for later retrieval? What about somehow directly downloading them to my computer

I agree. Let's not predict doom and gloom for Windows users. The truth is that Apple hasn't said yet, and that will be the end of story for now, accept it or not. If iTunes will be in self destruct mode for Windows users, we'll have plenty of time to come to terms with that, probably months.
