Hello Katrina,
First of all, it sounds to me like maybe something went not quite right with
your update because I have not heard of any issues with people being able to
power off their phone in the usual way, e.g. press volume up, press volume down
and then press and hold the side button for
I thought the app switcher thing with an app occasionally being shown twice had
already been resolved? If not then it certainly seems to be resolved in iOS

the first week of November, OK, so it could also be the week
Barbara, I understand the idea behind thinking being able to replace a battery
would be desirable. However, with these modern Lithium batteries and the
availability of external power banks there really is little or maybe I should
say no reason why this would be of interest to people. You could
It isn't a big deal not to have a home button. I also have an iPhone
8 as well as an iPhone 13 pro max. There are some bugs with the app
switcher in IOS 16. That is why you are seeing apps twice. It is
very annoying. I think the notification stuff is different in IOS 16.

Make sure the item you want to close in the app switcher says active.
I haven't had that many problems with the app switcher. Good luck.

Yes, I'm seeing this as well, and this was mentioned in the Applevis post that
came out when IOS 16 was released.

Yes, definitely having issues with the app switcher. I was forced to update to
16.0.3 on my iPhone 8, in order to use my new airPods Pro. Many Things have
been challenging ever since. After entering the app switcher, it is necessary
to listen for "active" after the app name. If you just
What I meant to say, was using the mail example what I would first here is the
word mail and then I would swipe right and I hear mail active and I have to go
there in order to close the app. I am using the iPhone 13 Pro.

Hello, all I noticed that when I open the app switcher there seems to be two
occurrences of the app. For example, if I had just mail open, I would hear the
word mail and then if I swipe to the right, it would say mail button and then I
can flick up and close it if I do not swipe to the second
Before the iphone, I used to have two nochia phones with a specially installed
screen reader on them. This made them pretty accessible. But The iphone is
much better. I wouldn't go back, I was just saying that I wished that you could
change the batteries as easily as you could with them. I
Yes, doing it via the phone is also a good option.
We live in a small town and I know the pharmacist at one of our local
pharmacies so I can just call them and make an appointment and then they still
put it in the system of course so my record is updated accordingly.

I’m having the same problem. I think the reason is that it opens as if you’d already tapped on My Account and it has timed out. You have to find the Cancel button, double tap and tgen retryHarryHarry UK On 14 Oct 2022, at 19:05, colleyd1...@gmail.com wrote:I updated my phone to 16.03 and now I
That means that either the App Store has a current and temporary issue or you
are for some reason not connected to the internet.
The first thing of course would be to reboot your iPhone, now that you use iOS
16 you can simply tell Siri "Reboot my phone" or reboot my device. Siri will
ask if you

I just had a look and this is entirely stupid because as soon as you double tap

I updated my phone to 16.03 and now I can't get in to the ap store. First it
says it's loading, then it keeps giving me the message that it can't connect

Does anyone know if there is something more I should be doing?

If your battery health/capacity is really at 30% and you plan to use this phone
in any meaningful way without it being permanently plugged in you should simply
spend the $49 and get a new battery put in. Nobody can tell you whether it will
work for 1 hour, 30 minutes or 2 hours as that would
And I don't miss the days when I dropped my old flip phone or whatever I had at

I also remember buying an extra battery for some phone I had back then and

I like the non-smart phones where you could replace the battery yourself.
Unfortunately a lot of things on the non-smart phones were not accessible to
me. That is why I switched over to the iPhone.

Wow, That's crazy. I definitely won't be trying to replace it myself. Why does
it have to be so complicated. It makes me a bit nostalgic for my non-smart
phones where you could just pop open the back and easily replace the battery.
Thank you all so much for the info.
Hopefully they will
I have always had it done by apple. The last time it cost $49 and took
2 hours at the local store.

So in the battery health thread, some people discussed getting a new iphone
battery. So I was wondering, how do you change an iphone's battery? Do you have
to send it away to apple, or can i somehow buy a replacement battery and
replace it myself?

I know another person who replaced an 8 with an 8. I guess 8 was a popular
phone.
