Have you gone to Settings > General > Keyboards and added the third party
keyboard you want to use?
You also have to allow full access to the keyboard which often has to be done
in the Settings for the specific keyboard you are using, e.g. for GBoard it
might be Settings > GBoard
Hello everyone,
First of all, thank you to all of you who put in your thoughts and
suggestions, regarding keyboards. I really appreciate this. I plan on
trying a few of them out, to see what I might prefer.
I have the Gboard keyboard installed, so far.
Does anyone know how I activate it? I
ng the accuracy of this dictation, thanks.

Hi to the list.
I am so close to get this to working, but I cannot figure out a few steps.
You may have experienced less than stellar results with IOS dictation, even so
far as to experience dictating text, having it show up correctly when
reviewing
get back something quite
different than what you had originally dictated, and sometimes, dramatically
different.
I decided to download and install Google’s GBoard, and make it a third party
keyboard, but only with partial success.
Apparently, there is a button that you must activate called Hide
Hi friends,
I have a few questions about Gboard:
Firstly, how do I make it my default keyboard on IPhone 7? Also, how
do I activate dictation? How many languages can I dictate in? How do
I change languages on the fly?
Thank you.

It would be interesting if direct touch were supported so VoiceOver users
could also take advantage of the glide input method that has become so

I took a look earlier today, and I didn't see anything in the IOS Gboard

a lot that were listed as coming soon, so maybe it's on the way.

If anyone finds a way to customize Gboard, let us know.
I think, from the research I've done, the number row is only going to be
available on Android.
There is nothing about a number row in the iOS Gboard settings.

thing about it is that it seemingly includes a number row, without having to
