I don't use the program right now, but that's strange that it is an IPhone 5 thing. That suggests they must have changed the coding for the IPhone 5 different screen and broken accessibility in some way in that process? If not then it is another one of those random things that happen in some cases

bookshare app

2012-09-30 Thread martin nelson
Hello, friends: I have an Ipod touch, and am a member of bookshare.org. I learned of an app called Go 2 Read that allows one to get and read books from Bookshare on an Apple device; the problem is that the app costs nearly $20. Has anyone had experience using this app? It is worth the money?

Hello, The app is called Read2Go, and it works very well. You can use it to search for books from Bookshare and download them to your device. You can read them with Voiceover or a cappella voices built into the app. I use a braille display frequently with it, and in the current version, it is

Technical or conectivity aspects aside, as an end user, I think other than the standard keypad and volume controls that would probably be the base of any app remote solution, would be the ability to access other features that appear on the television screen like program information, ratings, etc.
